Street safety in an urban environment is an issue affecting each and everyone of us.
The users of this system carries with them a token of hope that is able to react to their cry for help. This token then sends a signal to local authorities with the exact location of the event, as well as activates a light/sound structure in the street. These features permit to lessen the Bystander Effect (theory that states that individuals are less likely to offer help to a victim when there are other people present), scare off the attacker and reassure the victim.
So they may be safe and sound.
