The assignment for this project was to conceive an eco-packaging. We were free to choose any kind of product as long as we did not have to refrigerated it. I considered that the best kind of éco-packaging you can have is none. Or that the packaging has an additional fonction.
My reflection revolve around the fresh herbs which are used for cooking and my idea is to provide a kit. With it, you can grow your own herbs. So in the present case, we keep the cork disc which was the wrapping packaging and we use the provided strings to convert it into a container.
As packaging, it was protecting and kept together the soil and seeds in there the hydrophobic plastic bag and the instructions. Cork is a natural substance which is produced with tree barks. It is a malleable material so we can put it into a mold so would takes any form we want.
