A loving society makes sustainable choices for the future.
This research projects tries to find an answer to the question « How can queer acceptance in public transit help achieve parts of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the European Union for the 2030 agenda? ».
So many aspects of public means of transportation are so unpleasant: always stuck in traffic, never on time, constantly overfilled, way too many stops... and that is just the system behind the vehicles. A darker side is also the lack of safety: women risk being catcalled on, harassed; queer people are persecuted, beaten up, killed in the most tragic cases:
The European Union needs to step up on this issues and show the rest of the world the way to a society, where we can travel without fears. Let us balance the human induced violence
with the poetic nature of the botanic world.
