Peel is a new perspective on Halloween masks: Every year enormous quantities of plastic masks are being produced for this night of the death. People only wear them once and throw them away. If we are only using them for such a short amount of time, it sounds just logic that we should make them biodegradable.
Experimenting around the biomaterial that is mandarin peels, I came up with this mask made from the inner skin of the fruit. Combining diffe- rent processes of drying and cooking it with bio- plastic, a new, human skin like material was the result.
But the mandarin peels can be processed in different ways to archive different results and so have a variety of potential new halloween masks.
